DZRH Kaunaunahan sa Pilipinas

LOL... siguro mas apektado ako sa banat ni Malu Fernandez sa mga OFW's. Dahil alam kong, kahit hirap ang mga Philippine educated doctors dito sa pagpasok nila sa mainstream US, alam ko namang malaki ang sweldo nilang di hamak , and I doubt if this line from Desperate Housewives would affect the way their patients look at them. It is as if saying, Desperate Housewives has a big audience, at ang lahat ng kanilang mga pasyente or potential na pasyente ay mga manoood ng Desperate Housewives. Kung ano man ang hirap ng mga Pinoy doctors na ito sa US, ay sulit naman pagdating sa salaries nila, later on. Commensurate naman ang paghihirap nila sa lifetime job security nila, bukod pa sa milyong milyong kikitain nila later on as medical doctors sa US.

As for the Malu Fernandez situation, may nagsalita ba sa Malakanyang para kundinahin ang pinagsusulat ni Malu Fernandez ilang buwan na ang nakakaraan ? Pinagtanggol ba ng Malakanyang ang mga OFW's na siya nilang tinaguriang mga BAGONG BAYANI , katulad ng pag kondena ng Malakanyang sa line na iyon sa DH. I am asking, kasi baka na miss ko lang.

On your suggestion na dapat sigurong tirahin rin ang lahat ng pelikulang bumanat sa mga Pinoys noong napakaraming taong nakalipas na... hmmm.... that is a good idea.

Care to put up a committee to review all those films or tv shows that maligned the credibilities of the Filipinos. We can demand that specific lines be removed .

I do not think, there was any malice from the writers in giving that character, Susan Meyer, this "diploma from some medical school in the Philippines" line... as far back as I recall when I was still watching DH, this fictional character is tactless, not careful with what she says, and just blurts out easily what she has in her mind. I think I read somewhere too, that ABC had already apologized.

From this point on, I think, the Philippines should put effort in improving the situation in the Philippines. Not only to produce the best doctors in the world, or most employeable nurses in the world, but also help these graduates of Philippine schoolsl get decent jobs right in the Philippines, instead of being forced to look for jobs overseas. So that, we do not have doctors that are forced by situations in the Philippines to become nurses, just to be able to earn a decent salary to support their families.

Filipinos are over sensitive and over reacting sometimes...joke lang naman yun saka normal lang yun sa mga sitcom ...mas grabe pa nga magbiro at magcriticize ang mga pinoy...cool lang po tayo,di nakukuha sa pagiging pikon ang lahat...saka mga Fil Doctos sa USA,Nurses,Medical Tech,Radiologist ... nirerespeto po sila doon...galing ako doon,nakita ko ang 1Hospital sa long beach kung saan dinala ung nanay ng friend ko...halos puro Filipino Doctor at Filipina nurses ang laman ,kahit saan ako tumingin Pilipino ang nakikita ko...akala ko nga nasa hospital ako ng Pilipinas ...kaya po wag tayong masyadong over sensitibo,kelangan po marunong din tayong tumanggap ng joke at critico...
